Southeastern Motorcycle Retreats, LLC has always brought you the very best our area has to
offer. We will continue to offer our designer retreats, however we now offer a completely
customizable list of tours, activities and lodging types to suit any need. Guided or self guided
tours can be scheduled throughout the year at your convenience at no extra cost. You will still
receive our signature service, great routes and the beauty of the Appalachian area, but now you
can pick your activities whether one or twenty. You decide if you want to try camping, staying in
one of the many fine resorts and spas, one of the local hotels or bed and breakfasts. We will work
with you every step of the way.
Once you have made your decisions, we will take care of the necessary reservations and provide
you with a written itinerary of your trip with the dates and times for all of the planned events. Our
experience and location make it possible for us to offer you a customized vacation you will
remember for a lifetime! Best of all, you don't have to follow our calendar.
Some of the possibilities for your vacation;
Whitewater Rafting/Kayaking; on any one of our renowned rivers supported by local outfitters
Tubing/ Canoing; on one of the lazier rivers
“Bike-n-Hike”; A unique idea we came up with to combine backpacking and motorcycling. We
guide you to trail heads via car or motorcycle and then secure your motorcycle while you hike to
one of the shelters or back country campsites. Day hikes or multiple night hikes are available.
Golfing Vacations; a great number of beautiful mountain courses are scattered throughout the
North Georgia mountains and Carolina’s.
ATV/Dirt-bike Adventures; Available on many of the Forest Service roads and private parks
that cater to ATV’s in the mountain settings of North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
Horseback Riding; Back country riding, stable riding and overnight camping trips are a way to
connect with the turn of the century pioneers that settled these beautiful mountains.
Waterfall Tours; a great way to experience the outdoors and the natural relaxing effects of the
waterfalls will wash away weeks of tension. With hundreds of large and smaller falls throughout
the area, you can spend weeks hiking and driving to as many as you care to see.
Fishing; Trout, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Stripers and Hybrid Bass on the lakes
and streams is a great way to see the countryside and catch a tasty dinner, in season of course.
Shopping and More; antiques, mountain crafts and foods, upscale boutiques and galleries are
located in many of the quaint towns in the mountain regions of the tri-state area and
Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge.
Amusement Parks; in Boone, Cherokee, Maggie Valley, and Six Flags over Georgia and
Paramount’s Carowinds in North Carolina near Charlotte.
Harrah’s Cherokee Casino; in Cherokee, NC is a favorite destination of many of the locals,
offering a variety of Vegas style games and entertainment
Great Smoky Mountain Railroad; offers daytime, dinner and overnight packages to take you
back to a more relaxed era when the rails ruled!
Antique Car and Motorcycle Museums; in Asheville and Maggie Valley provide a stroll through
time.
Western North Carolina Air Museum ; in Hendersonville for the aviation enthusiast in you.
Cultural and Historical Museums; Located throughout the area with a variety of topics
covering a multitude of subjects and events. We will help you decide which ones are right for you.
Mountain Festivals and Fairs; Running throughout the riding season with national recording
artists and lots of crafts and theme activities.
Lodging; as varied as the landscape and culture. Hostels, B&B's, Historic Lodges, Chain
hotels, Cabin rentals to Luxurious resorts, Economy to Lavish, we can help you find what is right
for you.
Due to the number of choices of destinations, length of trips, lodging arrangements and other scheduling concerns, we may require 90 days advanced
notice to plan your special trip. The number of participants on guided retreats may be limited due to scheduling, transportation and other logistical
concerns. Fees will be based on the number of participants, number of and types of activities, lodging requirements and locations.
Unlike our Ultra-Premium and Premium Retreats, these retreats do not include food, fuel, limousine service or travel insurance as standard. Your
personal itinerary will dictate your transportation needs. We will assist you as necessary to make sure you will arrive at your destination ready to
enjoy your vacation, however, due to deposits and other variables, we will be unable to make rental transportation and airline reservations for you.
Travel insurance is available for all of our trips at an additional cost. Purchasing travel insurance will provide additional safeguards during your trip
and peace of mind throughout the your entire vacation and is highly recommended.
Some of the activities may not be available due to seasonal closings or normal scheduling. Reservations may be required at certain activities during
the peak season. We will advise you of any choices that are not available as soon as possible. Other restrictions may apply. Lodging will be on an as
available basis. We will be happy to make dining and other recommendations on request.
